Having grown up in Janesville, she graduated from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, with a Bachelor of Science. After returning to the Janesville area, she received teacher training in the Suzuki violin method and specialized in teaching very young children.
Alison plays in the first violin section of the Janesville/ Beloit Symphony, is
a violinist with the Whitewater String Quartet and maintains a private studio
from her home in Milton. She lives there with her husband Al, a professional
flutist and composer, and their two sons, Max, and Willy. |
