Remaining 2007 Wisconsin Badgers
Home Football Schedule

Nov. 10

All home games are played at
Camp Randall Stadium

 Please Contact:
Steve & Deb Ehrhardt
for further information at
568-8465 or e-mail ehrhardt@ticon.net

Those people who worked the
Badger Football games are able to work
 additional Per Mar events.
Talk with Deb & Steve  about dates available.

__________

Report Time:   2 1/2 Hrs. before game.

Orchestra Boosters is the group that initiated this fund-raiser and is the listed
group on all paper work.  Make sure you let Steve & Deb Ehrhardt  know that you
are an Orchestra Booster parent or student.  Money from the hours you work will be
given to Kelli Rowley, Orchestra Boosters Treasurer, so that it goes into your/your
 student's individual Orchestra account.

For students under 18:

Work permits for this are $5.00.  Bring your birth certificate, social security card, and a note signed by a parent/guardian saying you have their permission to work for Per Mar, to Mrs. Lestusky in the High School Main Office. If you bring all of this to her in the morning, she should have your permit by the end of school.
Per Mar will need the original; you keep the copy for your records.  Bring this with you when you come to work for the first time.

The application form, available from Ehrhardts, must be filed out and returned to
Steve & Deb Ehrhardt at least a week before the first game you will work.

Badger Games-Per Mar Security Information

Per Mar Security has worked with the Madison University athletics for over 20 years.
Per Mar Security hires 500 employees to work at each Badger home game. The New stadium holds 80,000 people.

Our jobs through Per Mar Security would be helping with collecting tickets, bag checking, trafficking in congested areas, ushers, etc. If they assign another job, the supervisor for that specific job will explain it all. A supervisor will always be near by to answer any questions you may have or cannot answer for a fan. (Please do not answer a question with: I don’t know) If you don’t know, say you will find out for them, do not leave your post, but motion to your supervisor to come over.

The pay will be depending on which job you are doing. Students will generally be making $5.15 an hour. Adults will be making $7.50 an hour. The money made by a student and/or their parent will be put into the student’s Orchestra account.

Dress Code/Uniform: Black pants (not black jeans) worn properly. No holes or rips. Shirt with a white collar, white turtlenecks are allowed on cooler games. Completely black shoes. Prefer leather shoes, but all black tennis shoes are acceptable, there can be NO white on them at all. Try to have them comfortable, as you will be standing. Per Mar Security will supply a jacket (Yellow or Green) pertaining to the job assigned. They will also supply you with a hat that you can keep if you would like. This will only be supplied once; you must bring it with you to the other games. Jackets must be worn and buttoned up no matter how warm the weather. So need to dress accordingly. Supervisors wear bright blue jackets. You will also be given credentials that need to be worn around the neck on a strap that they give you. The credentials will also be your ticket into the game and proof that you are supposed to be there as they are color coded pertaining to what job/area you are working. BRING A PEN!! You will need this to fill out a time card, and jot down things. You can keep this in the pouch with your credentials.

Per Federal law, 14 and 15 year olds are not allowed to work past 7:00 PM. So on some of the later games, these students will not be allowed to work.

The Badgers have a reputation to uphold as being one of the top places for visitors to attend games. Everyone that works for Per Mar is expected to be courteous to all fans, visiting and home. Please make everyone feel welcome. Greet them with a Hello and a smile, and tell them to enjoy the game.

Per Mar Security also will be hiring people to work at the Kohl Center. This is not something we can volunteer for. They will be evaluating us during the 6 home Badger games and will recommend the persons who they feel are good candidates to work at the Kohl Center.

For September 3rd game, we need to be at the Field House by 7:00 am. Game starts at 10:00. It would be best if anyone that wants to work any of the games, that they attend the first game as this will be a more formal training. If that is not possible, you will still be able to work at other games, just not as thorough training. We encourage participation at the game on the 3rd if you want to participate in the fundraiser.

Any one under 18 will need a work permit. Anyone that wants to participate will also need to fill out an application.

Transportation will be each individuals responsibility. We ride on a school bus with the Knights of Columbus which will drop us off and pick us up after the game.  The charge to ride the bus is $3.00 per person.   Parking is terrible around Camp Randall. Most private individuals that live around Camp Randall charge between $15.00 to $25.00 to park on their property.

Bring money for food, as this is not supplied. Your supervisor will assign breaks.

This should be viewed as a job. Not just as a Fund-Raiser. You are expected to work. Please be professional.
