A
REMINDER TO
ALL ELEMENTARY AND BEGINNING ORCHESTRA STUDENTS
AND THEIR FAMILIES
Students
are responsible for coming to Orchestra and lessons
on time,
having their
instrument and music with them.
Ms. Rensberger has sent home lesson
schedules.
The students should be writing these in their assignment notebooks.
Students are expected to bring their lesson/practice logs to
every lesson.
It is more productive to play every day, even for only five
minutes,
than to skip a day entirely.
Goals are very important.
Help your
students develop a healthy, daily practice routine!
Also, please help them
remember to take their instruments
and music to school on lesson days.
|
|
|
|
|
Students are also responsible for maintaining their own strings, bridges,
rosin, etc.
If strings are getting old, worn, or broken, it is up to
the student to replace them.
Sources of strings, and other string instrument
supplies, can be found
on the links
page. |
