ALL STUDENTS
are responsible for coming to Orchestra and lessons on time, having their
instrument and music with them. Mrs. Nielsen will be sending home lesson
schedules. Students are expected to bring their lesson/practice logs to
every lesson. It is more productive to play every day, even for only five
minutes, than to skip a day entirely. Goals are very important. Help your
students develop a healthy, daily practice routine! Also, please help them
remember to take their instruments and music to school on lesson days
|
|
Students are also responsible for maintaining their own strings, bridges,
rosin, etc. If strings are getting old, worn, or broken, it is up to
the student to replace them. Sources of strings, and other string instrument
supplies, can be found on the links
page.

and therefore part of your grade.
IF you can not make a concert, your parents must contact Mrs. Nielsen
BEFORE the concert. Absence due to due to conflicts, other
than illness,
may be reflected as a lowered grade. The yearly concert schedule is
published in the school calendar which is received in August at
registration and on this web site. Please plan accordingly. |
