Dear Parents and Musicians:
It is time for the annual Orchestra Booster's Geranium Sale. This fund-raiser
provides money to be used for school concert expenses, music-oriented field
trips,
partial scholarships for summer music camps, and youth orchestra tuition.
Students wishing to apply for a scholarship to a summer music camp, or for
tuition
for youth orchestra, will be awarded seventy-five cents ($0.75) for each
geranium
sold, with the maximum amount being $100 (or the cost of camp, if that
were to be
less than $100)
High School students working toward music letter points receive (2) points for
selling 25 or more geraniums.

Again, also prize coupons will be awarded students for their sales:
(1-10) Geraniums ($1) Frostie Freeze Coupon
(11-25) Geraniums ($2) Frostie Freeze Coupons
(26-40) Geraniums ($3) Frostie Freeze Coupons
(41-55) Geraniums ($4) Frostie Freeze Coupons
(56-70) Geraniums ($5) Frostie Freeze Coupons
(71-85) Geraniums ($6) Frostie Freeze Coupons
(86-99) Geraniums ($7) Frostie Freeze Coupons

(Students applying for scholarships/tuition are eligible for prize coupons.) |

We need your help to make this fund-raiser a success! Orchestra Boosters wants
you to know that every bit of your time and effort is very much appreciated!
We
know that you are very involved and busy already, and that taking time
to
participate in this fund-raiser doesn't "just happen".
Here's what you do:
1.
Between Monday, April 9, 2007 and Wednesday, April 25, 2007 take your
order
form to your neighbors, friends and relatives. Write the number of plants
they want
(Quantity) and figure the amount they owe. The COST OF EACH
GERANIUM is
$4.00. There is no sales tax to charge. Be sure you obtain
addresses and phone
numbers, so that you are able to deliver the coupons, which
your customers have
ordered. Do not collect money now! Just
take orders now! Your customers will pay
you when you deliver the
Geranium coupons to them.

2.
Your order forms and personal check (or money order*) for the total
amount of your
orders must be brought to the Fort Atkinson High School Commons
on Wednesday,
April 25, 2007 between 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Your check (or
money order*)
should be
payable to Fort Atkinson Orchestra
Boosters.
Camp
Scholarship forms must be turned in at this same time
To allow you time to obtain payments for orders,
Orchestra Boosters will wait
until
Friday, May 4, 2007 to deposit your checks and make payment to Blodgett's
for all
plants ordered.
NO CASH - checks or money orders* only.

3.
You will receive a coupon for each geranium ordered by your customers
|
4.
Deliver the coupons to your customers, and collect payment for the
orders.
It would be best if you do this promptly so that those who wish to give plants
as
Mother's Day gifts or plan their spring gardening may do so.
Delivering the
coupons quickly also enables you to obtain prompt payment for
your orders.
When you present the coupons to your customers, remind
them:
Coupons may be redeemed for Geranium plants at Blodgett's Garden Center
May 5 through June 30.

Reminder: the ONLY time/date/place for turning in orders and
checks/money
orders will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 3:30 - 7:00 p.m.
in the Commons of the Fort Atkinson High School. Use the main entrance.
If you have a conflict, and are not able to make this date, please contact
Jill and Julian Buss, Geranium Sale Chairmen at 563-2465.
Orders will not be processed after 7:00 p.m., April 25,
2007
Any orders
received after that time/date will not be accepted.
We are sorry to be so
firm in that regard, but in fairness to all, there has to be a final time/date.
