 Visa Gift Cards

The
Mall
of America prefers credit/debit cards for purchases rather than
Traveler's checks.
They will still accept Traveler's Checks, but purchases are easier, less
hassled, with
the credit/debit card.
After speaking with the Fort Community Credit Union, they suggested parents
might
want to purchase and load a Visa Gift Card for their student to use.

The Gift Cards work, and are accepted, just like a regular Visa card by any
merchant
who accepts Visa.
These pre-paid cards have a set spending limit which is determined by the amount
loaded onto them.
These can be loaded on-line with any amount from $25 to
$500 by a parent or student
from their existing credit or debit card.
$5.95 shipping/handling fee per card.
The cards take five to seven business days to arrive.
These should be ordered by Nov. 30th so they arrive in time for the Tour.
These cards can be reloaded with funds in the future, so hang onto the card
when all of the funds on it now have been spent.
NOTE:
There are also Traveler's Visa which
can be purchased, however the
beginning total for these cards is
$250.00.
US Bank also has a pre-paid credit
card available to customers who have at least a
savings account open with them.
