Concert Dress
The following concert attire will be required for our concerts during the
year:
High School -
Girls - All black dresses or black pants suits and black hose,
Boys - Dress shirts, black dress pants, black ties and,
if possible, black jackets.
Middle School - Again this year, in keeping with the
rest of the middle school music department, we are continuing with the Fort
Orchestra T-shirt. Seventh and eighth grade orchestra students may use their
orchestra T-shirts from the previous year. We still want to keep our
classier image and request black dress pants, black socks and shoes.
Elementary - Your Sunday best!
Private Lessons
At present we have three private teachers coming to Fort to give lessons.
Private lessons are greatly encouraged. Many of our students study
privately. Lessons are given at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday
afternoons and evenings. Please call me at 563-7811 Ext 1122 for more
information. |

Holiday Gig
Several High School and Middle School Orchestra students will be
providing music for the Holiday Open House at the Hoard Museum on Sunday,
December 5, from 1:00 to 4:00pm I will be putting together ensembles and
keeping you informed.
Conferences - open to all students
I will be at the High School on Tuesday, November 9 from 5:00 to 8:30 pm for
parent-teacher conferences. Since I can't be at all five schools for
conferences, please feel free to see me at the High School. I;d love to
visit with you.
Parents stop by at their leisure. No appointments are scheduled for
parent-teacher conferences.

Don't forget to mark your calendars
Please see the enclosed orchestra calendar and put those concert dates on
your personal calendar. We all have so many commitments that this will
hopefully prevent future conflicts. (See Page 3)
