Letter from President, & Orchestra Calendar
July 1999
Dear Orchestra Parents,
Believe it or not, it's time to get ready for the 1999-2000 school year.
Orchestra Boosters needs officers & chairpersons to help Mrs. Nielsen plan
& organize events & concerts for all orchestra students.
Offices are:
Presidents / Co-presidents
Vice President / Co-vice presidents in charge of publicity
Secretary in charge of newsletter (3 issues: October, February & April)
Treasurer
Chairpersons include:
Dessert Concert (March)
Geranium Sale (April)
Please seriously consider taking one of these positions for the upcoming
year. None of these jobs is difficult or time consuming by itself.
However when Mrs. Nielsen and only 1 or 2 parents have to do all the
organizing & planning, it becomes overwhelming.
Mrs. Nielsen can not do it all - we must all help out. The success of the
Fort Atkinson Orchestra Program depends on all of us. Call Mrs. Nielsen to
find out more about the position you are interested in or to volunteer for a
position. She will certainly welcome your calls - 563- 7811 Ext. 1122.
