I am really excited about what is happening
at every level of our Orchestra Program. We have many excellent,
talented, serious students.
Our High School Orchestra enrollment is at an all time
high. I can honestly say that I have never had such a serious
group.
A word to Middle School and Elementary parents; please
help monitor your child's practice sessions. Ask to
see the weekly record
and sign when
appropriate. This consistency in
practicing will really pay off, |
and if your middle school student hasn't told you, his or her grade
depends on the amount of practice time recorded.
I am so grateful for the new group of parent supporters
this year. They have been coming up with many new and fresh ideas.
And as always I am grateful to all of the Orchestra parents for your
support.

our children

Basket and Pottery
Fundraiser for
Orchestra Boosters
Redecorate your home, start a collection,
or get an early jump on Christmas shopping by taking advantage of the
Longaberger Basket and Pottery fundraiser for the Fort Atkinson School
Orchestra Boosters. |
From October 9 through October 27, Mary Wegner, and
Independent Longaberger sales consultant, and enthusiastic Orchestra
Booster, will work our orchestra students on this fundraiser.
Students will be credited up to 22% of the sales in
their accounts, which can be used to fund school sponsored music trips
(including the trip to Florida this spring) and scholarships to
music camps in the summer.
High School students will be bringing home
catalogs and order forms soon. There will also be a display at
the October 16. High School Orchestra and Choir Concert. If a
Middle School or Elementary student would like to participate in this
fundraiser, or if you have any questions, please call Mary Wegner at
563-9412.
To have your Longaberger merchandise for
Christmas, orders must be turned in by October 27. |
