"Practice Makes Perfect"
(
http://www.fortschools.org/hswebs/OrchestraBoosters/ElementaryLessons.htm )

At the high school and middle school, orchestra is a regular class and part of the school schedule. Things are different at the Elementary level where orchestra lessons and rehearsals are planned around the students classroom schedules. Since Mrs. Nielsen only sees the younger students twice a week, once at their group lesson at their school, and once on Wednesday for full group Orchestra, it is very important that these are attended.
With only four weeks until the Dessert Concert, every rehearsal and lesson is one more chance to work on concert music. Please help your student remember their instrument, music, and to come to their scheduled lesson and rehearsal times. Beginning Orchestra meets on Wednesdays from 12:05 to 12:35 in the Orchestra Room on the second floor of Luther Elementary School. Elementary Orchestra is from 12:35 - 1:05 in the same place. Group lessons are posted on the Orchestra Web site under Elementary Lessons. A link will be put on the home page for you to find and use.
