Crisp Rice Cereal Treats

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 10.5oz bag Miniature Marshmallows
6 cups Crisp Rice cereal

Melt butter or margarine in large sauce pan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir constantly until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add cereal and stir until well coated. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into buttered 9 x 13 pan. Cut into squares when cool. Makes 24, 2 x 2 squares.

Note: Use fresh marshmallows for best results.

Microwave directions: In microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter or margarine and marshmallows on HIGH (100%) for 2 minutes. Stir to combine. Microwave pm HIGH for 1 minute longer, stir until smooth. Add cereal and stir until well coated. Press mixture into pan as directed above.
