Conference Championships
2000
Jeff Agnew
has been an agriculture education instructor and FFA Advisor at Fort Atkinson
High School since 1989. He has been the head girls softball coach since
1994. Prior to taking over the girls softball program at FAHS, Agnew
coached JV Baseball (1990-93), football (1991-93), and Varsity Swim
(1990-91). He is a graduate of Milton High School (1983) and holds a
Bachelor of Science and Master Degree from the University of Wisconsin-
Platteville (1987 and 1999).
The FAHS
girls softball program has posted a 221-93 record and .704 winning percentage
under Agnew's guidance. The Blackhawks have won seven conference titles his
fifteen years including a 1996 Badger Conference Championship and 1999, 2000,
2003, 2005, 2006, and 2008 Southern Lakes Conference titles. The 2000
Blackhawk softball team made a Division I state appearance after posting a 17-3
regular season record and winning Regional and Sectional Championships.
In 2002, 2004 and 2005, the Blackhawks won Division I Regional
Championships. Agnew was a coach in the 2001 Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball
Coaches Association High School All Star game. He serves as the Southern
Lakes Conference Representative to District VI of the Wisconsin Fastpitch
Softball Coaches Association.
Jeff and his wife Jean reside in Fort Atkinson with their four children: Jacob (1990), Alexandria (1992), Jeddrick (1993), and William (1997).

Paul Olson retired in 1996, after serving as an elementary teacher and administrator in the Fort Atkinson School District for thirty-four years. He is currently serving as Supervisor of Student Teachers for the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. Paul is a graduate of Middleton High School (1955), University of Wisconsin La Crosse (BA-1962), and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (MA-1967).
He has been a coach with the Blackhawk Softball program since 1978. FAHS Softball has posted a 397-176 record and a .692 winning percentage under coach Olson's guidance. He has been a part of eight Conference Championships including thee Badger Conference tiles(1985, 1993, and 1996), six Southern Lakes titles (1999, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2008), and two Division I state softball tournament appearances (1993 and 2000). He served as head softball coach from 1981-1990, where his teams compiled a 111-58 record and .656 winning percentage. In 1993, coach Olson was honored by the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association for his many years of dedication to fastpitch softball.
Paul and his wife Judy reside in Fort Atkinson and are the parents of two grown children and four grandchildren.
