    Please view this page to learn about the fourth grade curriculum which is quite different than third grade. Students are expected to be more independent and will have more nightly homework.  They will also be involved in more projects.

    To learn about the different academic areas in fourth grade, please click on the related files listed below.  Please take time to read about each area.  Your understanding of what the students are doing in class will only help them do better in school.

    Another big event in fourth grade is the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam (WKCE) which takes place late October/early November.  Students will complete different timed tests in the areas of math, reading/language arts, writing, science, and social studies.  Information regarding these tests will come home late September/early October.  Student scores are received in the spring.
