Postive Behavior Interventions & Supports

Purdy takes great pride in implementing PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports) within our building to help establish a school culture that is safe and healthy to learn and grow.  We work with students to develop school expectations at the beginning of each school year while revisiting areas of growth throughout the year.  Each classroom has the opportunity to collect coins for demonstrating good behavior by "Being Respectful, Being Responsible, Being Safe, and Ready to Learn!"  With the collection of coins, Purdy annually establishes a school-wide coin goal(s) in order to earn quarterly rewards and celebrations with all students and staff.
