Welcome to the School District of Fort Atkinson Technology Department. We hope you find this section useful whether you are a staff member, parent, student, or member of the community. It is our goal to offer exceptional support for all things technical in the School District of Fort Atkinson. 

We take great pride in our investments in infrastructure. All of our schools are interconnected via dark fiber optic cables. Each school has redundant core switches that help us survive hardware or software outages. We closely monitor our internet bandwidth to ensure that staff and students have data speeds they need to be efficient learners.  We've recently invested in our wireless infrastructure to paint wifi in every nook and cranny of our facilities. The new wifi is a welcome addition to our ever-growing fleet of mobile devices. Our ad-hoc inventory of devices is chosen to meet our learner's needs. For instance, iPads for young learners, Chromebooks for writers, Desktops & Laptops for business and 3D modeling, and Apple products for art & design. We also partner with local community organizations to share resources and offer mutually beneficial solutions. 

The District Technology Department encourages teachers and students to bring us challenges and innovation that will better prepare them for local and global communities.
