840         -     Gifts to the School District

                     The Board may accept and use any bequest or gift of money or property for a purpose deemed by the Board to be consistent with District goals. Significant donations to the District or individual schools in the District by community organizations and/or individuals must have approval of the Board.

                     All gifts or bequests shall become the sole property of the District to be used at the discretion of the Board with consideration to the donors requested use. 

                     The School District of Fort Atkinson does not discriminate in the acceptance and administration of gifts, bequests, scholarships and other aids, benefits or services to students from private agencies, organizations or persons on any basis protected by federal, state or local laws.

                     Discrimination complaints shall be processed in accordance with established procedures.
