  • 1/4 Students took notes on characteristics of the renaissance period in relation to playwrights and works, performance spaces, and actors. Went over intro notes for Merchant of Venice: its classification, settings, thems of anti-semitism, and character list (handout). Lysistrata scripts due on Monday, 1/8.

  • 1/2 Students took open book quiz to complete study of Everyman and the medieval period of drama. Remaining time used to complete Lysistrata scripts.
