WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND STUDENT REGISTRATION?
Student Enrollment: This process is done prior to your student attending in our district. Once you have completed this step for your student(s), it is not repeated each year. It’s a time for us to get your student(s) set up in our Student Information System as well as welcome you to the School District of Fort Atkinson!
NOTE: If your student has left to attend a different school district and is now returning, you will need to enroll again since there was a break in attendance in our district. Contact the appropriate school for your student to get re-enrolled.
Student Registration: This is a process that is done each school year. It’s a time for the district to verify student, family and emergency information as well as pay fees. We want to be sure we have all important information for your student starting Day 1 of school!
IS THERE ANY SCHOOL REGISTRATION FEE(S)?
Below are the annual school fees. There is a list of optional / extra-curricular fees located in the Student Fee List document located here. Optional and extra-curricular fees vary depending on the activities and items your student participates in.
Elementary School - Annual School Fees
- Early Childhood Registration Fee - $15
- 4K Registration Fee - $15
- Grade K - 5 Registration Fee - $35
Middle School - Annual School Fees
- Grade 6 - 8 Registration Fee - $40
- Grade 6 - 8 Rollerblading Fee - $10
High School - Annual School Fee
- Grade 9 - 12 Registration Fee - $50

Search your address in our Resident School by Address list. Once you find your resident school, contact that elementary school office to get the enrollment process started!
