School District of Fort Atkinson

The School District of Fort Atkinson offers personalized early childhood special education programming for children ages three to six years old who have been identified with a disability.

Early childhood special education can:

• provided play-based, developmentally appropriate instruction structured to meet each child's individual needs;
• implement and support the child's individualized education program (IEP);
• coordinate services with other team members such as speech pathologists, occupational & physical therapists, social workers and psychologists as outlined in the child's IEP;
• collaborate with and provide opportunities for families to partner in their child's education.
