MEET THE TEACHER!

I was born and raised in Prentice WI, a very small town “up north” with a population of 600 people! After high school graduation I attended the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse…Go Eagles! I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education.  I also have my Master of Education degree in Professional Development from UWL.

I taught Kindergarten for 4 years in Lake Geneva and moved to Fort Atkinson in 2004 to continue teaching Kindergarten at Rockwell Elementary School. This will be my 13^th year teaching Kindergarten and I love it! Kindergarten is the best grade to teach because of the hugs and smiles each day that I receive and the growth each child makes from September through June is amazing!

My husband and I just celebrated our 11 year anniversary. We have 2 amazing children. Olivia is 9 years old and James just turned 6. Our family also includes 2 yellow labs named Molokai and Lilly. We have had a wonderful summer full of swimming, playing at the park and picnics. I can’t wait to spend the next school year learning and growing with you! J
