Meet Mrs. Hansen

My name is Jessica Hansen and I LOVE teaching at Rockwell Elementary!  Many years ago, I was a student at Rockwell and, after three years of teaching in other school districts, I was lucky enough to return to this wonderful school.

I live in Fort Atkinson with my husband Drew and our two daughters Lillian and Ella.  We also have an orange, tabby cat named Harvey.  I enjoy being outside and spending time with my family and friends.  I grew up on a grain farm and still like helping during the planting and harvest seasons. 

I am licensed to teach students in kindergarten through 6th grade but I also hold a special reading license that would allow me to work with students in grades K-12.  

I am currently a reading interventionist and teach Reading Recovery to 1st grade students.  I can also provide other reading interventions to students in grades K-5.
