9.10.2020 Wellness Reminders

Fort schools

Good Afternoon 1Fort Families,

Thank you for a successful first few days of the 2020-2021 school year!

A few quick notes:

  • Be sure to screen your children at home and do not send kids to school if they are experiencing COVID related symptoms. Please review the Jefferson County Health Department COVID-19 Symptom Screener here.  If you are unsure if your student should come to school, please review the Should I Come to School form.
  • If your student has been tested for COVID, DO NOT send them to school until the test results come back regardless of whether they have symptoms or not.
  • Both our students and staff must adhere to the Isolation and Quarantine Guidelines from the Jefferson County Health Department regarding close contact protocols.
  • If there is a reported positive case of COVID, the following will happen:

As we learn more from the Jefferson County Health Department and other agencies, our school procedures will be adjusted to improve our families' experience as we navigate these complicated times. There is no doubt we will have exposures.  Just as positive cases occur outside of school, they are bound to happen in school as well.  It is our hope that the spread of COVID-19 will be minimized with good hygiene practices and following the mitigation strategies currently in place.  We appreciate your patience and support as we do our best with new circumstances and unique situations.

Thank you again for a successful first few days back!

Buenas tardes 1Fort Families,
