FORT ATKINSON, WI — The School District of Fort Atkinson will hold open house events at each of its elementary schools on Thursday, November 7, 2024, starting at 5:00 p.m.
The district has completed critical facility updates at all four elementary schools, supported by the November 2022 capital referendum, which also funded earlier improvements at the middle and high schools.
“We are thrilled to invite the entire community into our newly improved elementary schools,” said Dr. Rob Abbott, Superintendent. “These essential upgrades are a reflection of our community’s commitment to continuing our legacy of providing high-quality educational experiences for all 1Fort students. We look forward to celebrating this milestone together on November 7.”
The referendum-funded improvements include resurfaced parking lots, secure entrances, resurfaced floors and walls, plumbing updates, and extensive roofing and ceiling grid replacements district-wide. Significant HVAC updates were also completed in several buildings.
